The Seneca Sting (5-1) won their fifth straight game, defeating the St. Lawrence Vikings (3-3-1) 6-1.
After starting the season with a loss, the Sting have outscored their opponents 27-4 over their previous five games to sit comfortably in second place in the OCAA East Division.
Chantel Cifuentes opened the scoring in the 13th minute. Cifuentes dribbled the ball down the right side and fired a shot which just sailed over the Vikings' keeper and under the cross bar.
Francesca Pedullah continued her hot scoring, doubling the Sting lead in the 20th minute. Pedullah would add a second strike in the 48th minute and complete the hat trick in the 54th minute.
The Vikings netted their lone goal of the match in the 63rd minute on a goal by Kayla Hellam.
Victoria Harvey joined the scoring parade for the Sting, scoring in the 80th and 90th minute to complete the scoring.
Kaitlyn James picked up the win for the Sting in goal.
