The Seneca Sting dropped the second game of their doubleheader against the Conestoga Condors 12-1.
The Condors jumped out of gates by scoring four runs in the top of the first inning off Sting starter Cassandra Silverthorn. The Condors added one run in the second inning and four more in the third inning to blow the game open.
The Sting scored their lone run in the first inning of Condors' starter Acadia Northfield. Ghaney hit a two-out triple before Bader drove her in one batter later on a single.
The Condors added three runs in the top of the fifth inning to complete the scoring.
Bader completed her perfect night at the plate going two-for-two (four-for-four in the doubleheader) while adding a stolen base. Larrissa Lemay added a walk.
Cassidy Wettlaufer and Samantha MacPherson-Rossi each had three hits for the Condors while Kayle Gammie, Nicole Kressler and Jennifer Coombs each added two hits apiece. Wettlaufer also added three runs batted in and scored three times for the second consecutive game.
Northfield picked up the win for the Condors, going five innings while allowing just three hits, one walk and striking out four batters. Silverthorn pitched five innings, allowing fifteen hits, twelve runs (eight earned) and walking six batters.
