The Seneca Sting (3-0-0) opened the home portion of their schedule with a convincing 7-0 win over the George Brown Huskies (1-2-0).
Playing in front of an enthusiastic home crowd, the Sting started quickly against the Huskies. Olivia Lamacchia wasted little time in her first home game, scoring in the 7th minute.
From there, Julianna Cellamare, who was also making her Sting home debut, introduced herself to the home crowd. Cellamare scored in the 8th minute with struck again in the 28th minute to put the Sting up early.
Lamacchia (36th minute) and reigning OCAA Women's Soccer Rookie of the Year Sona Makulova (45th minute) each added a goal before halftime for an insurmountable lead.
Milinda Roblero joined the scoring in the 69th minute while Makulova completed the scoring in the 72nd minute.
