Cre-8 YOUR Best Body is simple:
You have 8 weeks to improve your overall health and wellness. We support you throughout the 8 week period with fitness and nutritional information, as well as plenty of motivation. Measurements of strength and body composition are taken to give you an idea of the progress you're making. The man and woman that show greatest physical improvements will win a $150 gift certificate to Sport Check.
This is NOT a weight loss competition. This is NOT a "strongman" fitness competition. It is for individuals of all shapes, sizes and athletic experience. It's not about creating THE best body . . . it's about creating YOUR best body! Whoever shows the biggest improvement from day 1 to day 56 will be declared the winner.
And whether you win or not, as long you do your best and "check-in" for testing on the first week, mid way and on the final week, you will be entered in to a random draw for a $50 gift certificate to Sport Check!!

1. It’s an individual challenge where participants follow their own cardio/weight training and nutritional program for 8 weeks. Each participant who enters has their anthropometric measurements taken by our Athletics and Recreation staff including grip strength, aerobic endurance, body weight, waist circumference and body fat percentage. (Before and after photos are available to be taken, but not mandatory)
2. Every participant receives a “Cre-8 YOUR Best Body” starter package that includes nutrition and weight training info, a workout card, a pedometer, and other cool stuff to help keep you motivated throughout the challenge.
3. The participants are required to come in for measurements at weeks one, four and eight to determine progress. Draws will be held for free fitness/recreation gear at each campus for those participants who check in at the designated testing dates. Additionally, every week e-mails will be sent to you with useful information to keep you on track of your goals and help you to create YOUR best body.
4. Registration begins the week of January 9th. The challenge begins the week of January 23rd, 2012 and is open to all Full-time Seneca College students only. You can register at your campus in the recreation centre.
