At Seneca, we believe it is as important to play as it is to win. Our awards system reflects this philosophy
by recognizing an individual's participation and team contribution achievements.
Participants gain points for every formal program we offer. Awards are
earned according to the point level achieved by the participant over
the school year, and the student is presented their award during the
first week of the new month. Collect your "Rec Bucks" after each event
and cash them in at the end of the semester or at the end of the school
year.
Members of the championship team will
receive a certificate with a team photograph and a Recreation Mug. High
Scorers and the Most Sportsmanlike players of each league will receive
a Jumbo Mug. Male and Female Athlete of the Year are also
selected.Winners receive Keeper Awards. Ultimate Service Award will go
to the outstanding Recreation Athlete Campus Wide. Winners receive a
gold ring. (See the Recreation Office for more information).
